Trained and licensed Aesthetician by the state of Massachusetts

Meet Carla Reis, a licensed Esthetician with over 15 years of experience in the skincare industry. Carla is passionate about helping clients achieve their best possible skin health and appearance.

Carla Reis is a trained and licensed Aesthetician by the state of Massachusetts.

She began her career in Framingham 15 years ago, and has many years experience working beside a dermatologist, giving her additional expertise and training in the medical Skin Care Clinic aspect of the beauty industry for their expertise and exceptional client care, and she was soon sought after by clients looking for the best possible skincare treatments.

Carla is known for their personalized approach and ability to tailor treatments to each client's unique needs and concerns.

In addition to their work at the Metrowest Dermatology Skin Care Clinic, Carla is also an avid learner, always staying up-to-date on the latest skincare trends and techniques.

Carla is passionate about the wonderful experience of helping clients achieve a higher level of self-esteem. What really gives her joy in her profession is seeing the before and after results, and how her work improves the quality of life for her clients.

When Carla is not in the Skin Care Clinic taking care of her clients, she loves to travel, especially exploring different cruises around the world. She loves nature and getting to know other cultures. She is also involved in her local church where she goes frequently to express her gratitude for all the many blessings God has given her.

Our Team

Dr. Asvadi

Doctor and Certified by the Board of Pathology Dermatologist

Shahla Asvadi is a diligent and detail-oriented dermatologist serving her patients in Framingham, MA. Dr. Asvadi is certified by the Board of Pathology, and she also specializes as a pathologist. Originally from Iran, Dr. Asvadi earned her medical education at the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences before relocating to Boston to attend Boston University and participate in their dermatology residency program. Dr. Asvadi is currently affiliated with the MetroWest Medical Center – Framingham Union Hospital.

Dr. Asvadi uses the Candela GentleMax laser for hair removal, cosmetic injections such as Radiesse and Dysport, Botox as well as performs minor skin surgeries; she treats rosacea, skin cancer, and acne. She provides her patients with laser skin treatments, skin biopsies, and allergy consultations.

Kathleen RN (MCPHS)

Nurse Esthetician

Meet our Nurse Kathleen, she has been a nurse since 2011, and has experience working in pediatrics / maternity, areas which demand a lot of attention to detail. She has a bachelors in science from Massachusetts college of pharmacy and health science (MCPHS). Kathleen provides a wide range of medical beauty procedures for our clients such as Botox, collagen injections, fillers and other skin and beauty treatments. For the past 5 years she has been enjoying making people look and feel their best. When she is not in the clinic, she likes to spend time with her family, go to the beach, go on vacation, and enjoy barbecues and outdoors activities in the summer.

Reservations

We recommend that you reserve your appointments 2 to 4 weeks in advance. You can schedule your appointments by text. Our prices and services are subject to change. Our technicians are highly-trained in their field of expertise, and are the best in the industry. If you have a preference for a specific professional, please make your request known when making your reservation.

Payment

We accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash and all major credit and debit cards.

Cancellation Policy

If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% charge for these services. Failure to arrive for your appointment or notify us, will result in a 100% charge for all reserved services.

Gratuities and Tips

Gratuities and Tips are not included in the price of our services or packages. At your discretion, gratuities and tips are graciously accepted. The industry standard ranges from 15% to 20% of the service fee.

Parking

We offer free street parking, or you can also use the Hospital parking lot.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are perfect for any occasion! We offer gift cards in any dollar amount! Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable.

Return Policy

Unopened merchandise may be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase for a refund.

No Cell Phones

For the comfort of all of our guests, we ask that you turn off and refrain from using your cell phone while inside our facility.

No Pets

We love our pets, too! However, we regret that we are unable to allow pets inside our facility due to State Board Regulations.

Service animals are welcome.

A service animal must fall under the following American with Disabilities Act guidelines:

• Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.
  
• A service animal is legitimately trained to be in public and to be under control and non-intrusive and not bark.
  
• Service animals are working animals, not pets.
  
• The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability.
  
• Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
  
• Emotional support dogs are not covered under the American with Disabilities Act and can legally be denied access.
  
• Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
  

No Alcohol, Drugs or Smoking

Skin Care Clinic services are highly therapeutic and, therefore, we reserve the right to refuse Skin Care Clinic services to any guest under the influence. Smoking, Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in our facility.
